Lead Business Developer

Join us in this role where you’ll Develop a comprehensive cost-out release module, including a Catalogue, documenting lifecycle management of LCoE (levelized cost of energy) and establish a robust pipeline encompassing technical, commercial, standardization and Industrialization and value chain aspects.

Welcome to Offshore Wind Category Strategy Transmission
You’ll be part of Offshore Wind Category Strategy Transmission where you, together with your colleagues, will develop long-term sourcing strategies for major offshore scopes, Drive supply chain development & category mgmt.,  Establish & maintain the framework agreements, Establish & maintain long-term strategic supplier relationships, monitor suppliers’ performance across the portfolio and identify & mitigate supply chain risks and Drive cost-out programs.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • driving and maintaining overview of all cost out levers
  • working with Engineering to understand next generation levers and applicability into future projects
  • understanding best market practices/solutions and updating/bringing current market outlook to key stakeholders through standardization/industrialization
  • challenging requirements and proposing design options and changes in system / components architecture (Dtx measures) to Engineering and evaluate the related cost impact.
  • contributing and understanding the winning formula and needs of the AP when entering into the bid.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a master’s degree a technical or commercial degree or similar in a relevant field
  • have more than 5 years industry-relevant supply chain experience from either the buyer or seller side
  • have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • understand how regulatory and political processes impact supply chain work
  • have a good understanding of Design-to-Value methodology
  • speak and write English fluently or at negotiation level.
