Student Assistant in the Commissioning Supervisors & HV Specialists team

Imagine a future where you’ll transform your theoretical knowledge into hands-on experience with impact on team leadership and supporting the development of a dynamic, global department dedicated to windfarm commissioning and electrical safety

Join us in this role where you’ll support both the department head and lead specialist in daily activities, collaborating with a diverse team spanning from Taiwan to the United States. You’ll be at the heart of the commissioning process, enabling seamless operations and contributing to the ongoing success of our windfarm projects.

Welcome to Commissioning Supervisors & HV Specialists
You’ll be part of the Commissioning Supervisors & HV Specialists team where you, together with your colleagues, will support a team of approximately 100 employees, a blend of full-time colleagues and consultants, working together to track and report project progress, quality, and safety, and ensure the highest standards of electrical safety for our windfarms under construction. The team’s expertise spans electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical installation and commissioning, and operates across markets and countries.
As a team, we we embrace knowledge sharing, foster development, and share lessons learned and improvement proposals in a culture focused on honesty, action, and continuous improvement.

You’ll play an important role in:
•    updating consultant cost history and forecasts
•    facilitating development of department processes and tools, tailored to your area of interest
•    facilitating presentations of business levers to the team
•    reviewing timesheets and invoices for accuracy and compliance
•    setting up interviews for candidates and new team members
•    facilitating hardware orders and system access for new starters.

To succeed in the role, you:
•    are passionate about your own development and eager to apply theory in practice
•    are motivated by optimisation and innovation in processes and collaboration
•    are a good storyteller who communicates clearly across teams
•    are honest, self-driven, and thrive in an action-oriented environment
•    are structured and organised, with an eye for detail and process improvement
•    are aware of risks and proactively seek to contribute to a safe, well-functioning workplace.

This is an outstanding opportunity to take your academic foundation and put it into practice, gaining unique insight into the commissioning domain while working in a supportive, collaborative, and ambitious team that values your input and growth.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
