Senior Marine Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll develop and support best-in-class offshore logistics to our operational offshore assets, for both future and operational windfarms. You will support tendering, implementation, and performance evaluation of Crew Transfer Vessels. You will also support with internal and external procedure development and at times support to our vessel suppliers to help them improve their performance.
Welcome to Logistics & Service
You’ll be part of Logistics & Service Execution team where you, together with your colleagues, will develop the contract material for tenders, procedures for operation and support performance development of our suppliers. The team is delivering a mix of vessels, helicopters and service execution improvement products and consist of a variety of different engineers, maritime trained persons, and project managers. We work across the global portfolio from bid to maturing a project and primarily supporting the existing operational windfarms.
You’ll play an important role in:
- developing and maintaining framework agreements with vessel suppliers in close cooperation with regions and procurement
- ensuring up to date information on Maritime HSE reporting for sites in the region and participate in follow up on actions if required
- maintaining up to date information on vessel availability for suppliers relevant to the region
- ensuring up to date knowledge on maritime legislation, conventions and guidelines relevant for the operations
- following up and reporting on progress and risk related to new build vessel to be used in Wind Power
- participating as vessel expert in investigations of maritime incidents when requested.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have Maritime background as e.g. Merchant or Navy officer or solid experience + 5 yers from working with maritime vessels (A vessel master from small crew transfer vessels will be preferred)
- have extensive knowledge of maritime legislation, conventions and classifications
- have experience in developing and implementing procedures
- possess excellent communication in English and collaboration skills
- are approachable, fun to work with, and wish to solve tasks, not just independently, but as part of an energetic team always striving to improve.
