Imagine a future where you’re responsible for ensuring a competitive and robust supply chain for foundation supply to our global offshore wind farms

Join us in this role where you’ll play an important role in driving supplier performance management and securing a robust supply chain for monopile and jacket foundations for our global offshore wind project pipeline.

Welcome to Procurement Wind Power
You’ll be part of Supplier Performance Management Foundations where you, together with your colleagues, will work in a newly established central function currently located in Germany, Poland, and Denmark. Together, you’ll secure supplier performance for all foundation suppliers globally. As a team, we have a culture based on trust and mutual respect, both inside the team and towards internal and external stakeholders. We acknowledge and value our impact on delivering strategic goals.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • ensuring that factory upgrades and new fabrication facilities are established in time and focusing on safety for securing Monopile and Jacket foundations
  • developing monopile and jacket fabrication suppliers globally and manage their operational performance
  • leading technical due diligence of fabrication facilities incl. layout, schedules for planning, establishment and upgrades of factories, manufacturing equipment and fabrication processes
  • creating and maintaining mutually trustful and beneficial relationships with our suppliers
  • promoting technical development of our suppliers and continuous optimization of the supply chain for our project portfolio
  • engaging in risk management and managing escalations and nonconformance claims.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • a relevant degree in engineering or supply chain management discipline, preferably supplemented by a commercial degree and being qualified as international welding engineer, such as FROSIO as an advantage
  • have more than five years of experience as project manager for large product development or infrastructure projects, with a project management certification like IPMA level A/B or PMI as an advantage
  • have a strong technical background from e.g., construction or factory serial production and 10 years’ experience with wind turbine foundation or tower structures, with strong commercial acumen and understanding of the legal framework for procurement
  • are proactive in decision-making and have the ability to anticipate next steps
  • have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders
  • have strong leadership experience with leading multicultural teams, preferably across continents.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
