Join us in this role where you’ll be part of the 1st line Risk Management leadership team in Trading & Revenue, leading a team of 7 specialists. You’ll be responsible for our in-house Price Store and EoD curve modelling engine, where we source and validate external price data, model arbitrage-free price curves on required granularity, and expose data to relevant stakeholders. The team supports enterprise wide and covers Gas, Power, CO2, Metals, Interest Rates, FX, Inflation etc. We are on a digital transformation journey, where you’ll help to plan, execute and progress towards a simpler and digitally enabled future. You’ll also be responsible for our price vendor engagements, incl. preparing and planning for renewals and negotiations, with strong support from internal subject matter experts.

You’ll be part of of newly established 1st line Risk Management organisation in Trading & Revenue where you, together with your colleagues, you will work in a professional and informal environment, leading a team of data engineers, financial and quantitative model developers.

The team is based in Warsaw and Gentofte. Our work culture is built on transparency, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement.

You’ll play an important role in:

• Facilitating a development roadmap for our primary applications, incl. a feasibility assessment of outsourcing the Price Store to a 3rd party provider

• Handling external vendor contracts, supported by a team with negotiation skills and administrative capacity

• Leading initiatives to streamline Market Data’s implementation process for New Products, ensuring swift time-to-market

• Sponsoring and driving progress in the enhancement of our curve modelling capabilities

• Leading the professionalization of the team by enhancing documentation, streamlining processes, automating tasks, and improving efficiency in testing, development, and deployment

• Establishing a risk-structuring and pre-deal advisory capability in the team supporting the Trading & Revenue strategy.

To succeed in the role, you:

• Have people leadership experience where you have enabled a collaborative and inspiring atmosphere, empowering team members to achieve outstanding results

• Thrive with actively engaging our stakeholders and can communicate complex IT matters to a non-technical audience

• Have knowledge of financial products and preferably energy markets and the renewable industry

• Are able to lead across a distance as currently one team member is based in Warsaw

• Are dedicated, curious and structured, with an ability to maintain a high-level perspective, even during detailed and technical discussions.
