Teamlead Reliability Engineers
Imagine a future where you lead an international engineering team that improves the safety, reliability, and performance of our wind farms.
Join us in this role where you’ll provide people and technical leadership to the Continental Europe Reliability Engineering team. You’ll set priorities, develop capabilities, and enable consistent, high-quality reliability support across our wind farms. Through data-driven decisions and close collaboration, you’ll help address technical risks, improve asset performance, and strengthen the way we work across sites and turbine platforms.
Welcome to Generation CE
You’ll be part of WTG Engineering where you, together with your colleagues, will support our operational sites by identifying and addressing technical risks, yield-loss drivers, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities. You’ll connect Reliability Engineers, site teams, CE Engineering, Technical Support, and other specialist functions to coordinate effective corrective and preventive actions.
As a team, we share knowledge, support one another, and turn technical insight into practical improvements. We succeed as one by building trust across sites, giving our experts the context and space to make decisions, and keeping safety at the heart of our work.
You’ll play an important role in:
- leading, motivating, and developing an international team of Reliability Engineers through clear objectives, coaching, competence planning, and development conversations
- translating Generation, CE Engineering, and site priorities into an aligned reliability engineering plan with clear ownership, milestones, and outcomes
- ensuring structured analysis of reliability performance, yield-loss drivers, recurring failures, technical risks, and emerging trends
- overseeing root-cause analyses, technical assessments, corrective and preventive actions, and prioritised reliability improvement initiatives
- strengthening consistent reliability practices, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across operational sites, engineering functions, suppliers, and technical support teams
- promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with asset integrity, HSE, governance, and applicable technical requirements.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a relevant technical or engineering qualification within mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, reliability, asset management, wind energy, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience
- bring leadership experience that enables you to develop people, set priorities, allocate resources, and create clarity across an international or multi-site team
- understand wind turbine operations, reliability engineering, technical support, maintenance engineering, asset integrity, or another high-reliability industry
- have strong knowledge of reliability and continuous-improvement methods, such as root-cause analysis, trend analysis, failure-mode analysis, reliability-centred maintenance, risk assessment, and corrective-action management
- can interpret technical and operational performance data and turn your findings into clear priorities, decisions, and measurable improvement actions
- communicate complex technical matters clearly, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and work professionally in English.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
