Senior Business Developer, Onshore Germany

Welcome to Business Development
You’ll be part of our Business Development and M&A team where you, together with your colleagues, will work to grow our German Onshore business (wind, solar and batteries) through business development initiatives, asset transactions and partnerships.
As a team, we are a group of ambitious professionals that are passionate and motivated to solve challenges related to the green transition.
You’ll play an important role in:
- lead business development and acquisition processes independently
- build and maintain relationships with partners, and develop cooperation agreements
- coordinate valuations, structure business cases, and participate in negotiations
- manage Due Diligence processes, negotiate commercial terms, and oversee transaction processes until closing
- prepare investment decision cases, evaluate projects' commercial viability
- build and maintain a reliable network within the renewables’ industry
- oversee ongoing market developments; derive resulting business development initiatives.
To succeed in the role, you:
- possess a commercial mindset and have relevant experience in working in the German renewable sector with a commercial / transaction focus
- are familiar with M&A processes and valuation frameworks
- show strong analytical skills and financial modelling experience
- are eager to take over responsibility and have a proactive approach
- like to build relationships and have an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- speak and write German and English fluently or at negotiation level, and believe in a future that runs entirely on green energy.
