Welcome to the IT Early Careers

The IT Early Careers programme is an early-career opportunity for you If you’re graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the summer of 2023. Join us in this role where you’ll learn how to create and maintain web applications that will be used to support our global revenue services. You’ll be responsible for developing a reliable reporting dashboard and tools that manage all our windfarm contracts across Europe and Asia. You’ll provide development and support in relation to application and operational issues across the production environment. You’ll be guided by people leaders who are focused on career development and overall well-being. As a team, we focus on keeping a good collaboration and a nurturing culture where all ideas are heard within a psychologically safe environment. When we work, we are focused and sharp but also have lots of fun.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • maintaining, enhancing, and customising existing applications and systems
  • requirement analysis and definition with regards to projects and changes
  • handling data in the cloud
  • writing unit and integration test cases to validate logic from the backend.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • love to communicate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
  • are able to explain technical jargon to non-technical people
  • able to learn and use coding best practices in web development
  • are an open-minded and outgoing team player
  • have experience in programming, preferably in Python
  • have experience of web technologies, such as REST, Angular 10, etc.
