HR Business Partner, The Netherlands and Belgium

Join us in this role where you’ll be part of People & Development (P&D) in Central Europe, working in a strong collaboration with great colleagues, partnering with our NL and Belgian business to support our business strategy. You'll act as change agent, partner, talent provider, and guardian, working closely with leaders and P&D Centres of Excellence.

You’ll be part of People & Development, Central Europe where you, together with your colleagues will work in a dynamic environment. Together with the team, you’ll work on an ambitious P&D agenda supporting our competitive business strategy for Central Europe and implement this in The Netherlands and Belgium. You’ll play an important role in:

  • providing strategic HR Business Partnering for leaders whose employees are based in NL (The Hague and Vlissingen site) and Belgium
  • driving annual people processes, ensuring their optimisation and supporting value creation and other hands-on HR business services
  • writing and updating local P&D policies
  • engaging in projects and global initiatives for P&D across the entire organisation
  • managing HR processes and procedures regarding compensation and benefits, in collaboration with the global compensation function.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience from an international company as an HR advisor or HR business partner
  • have solid experience from a trusted HR advisor role with knowledge of the compensation and benefits field
  • have a degree in human resources management, business psychology, or similar
  • demonstrate a thorough working knowledge and understanding of how to initiate global processes, tools, and policies, while adapting them to local conditions in the Netherlands and Belgium, and implementing solutions where gaps are evident
  • are fluent in Dutch and English in writing and verbally
  • have extensive knowledge of Dutch and Belgian employment law and can implement this in our policy and advise on employment matters.
